Our partners visit in Georgia
In November of 2018 partners from LafargeHolcim visited Georgia. In frames of visit, together with partners, company implemented new strategic plan for upcoming 2019 year, which entails increasing of sales and optimization of production and logistics. During this meeting we discussed and analyzed future infrastructural projects.
5* HOTEL IN BATUMI SUPPLIED WITH LAFARGE/GCC CEMENT
one of the biggest projects of “Alliance group” Marriot in Batumi, with modern design and ecologically clean and efficient materials for construction. This unique project is supplied with Lafarge/GCC cement products. Hottel “Marriot” will occupy the first 12 floors of the 54-story skyscraper, “Alliance Privilege” and exclusive apartments will be located on the upper floors.
Visit of French Partners
A group from LafargeHolcim’s technical center located in Lyon visited us. At the concrete factory they were acquainted with the ongoing processes of concrete quality control. They shared with us the knowledge and experience in order to make our methods even more close to the European standards. Together
The awarding ceremony at the MuCEM museum
On September 28, 2017, in the MuCEM museum in Marseilles (France), the starting architects were awarded. The event is held once every 3 years. The awarding ceremony, which was organized by the French company LAFARGE-Concrete, was also attended by LafargeGeorgia’s managers.
TRAINING IN BAKU
The cement plant staff of the Georgian Cement Company LLC., in particular: the engineer, chief of the laboratory and mechanical engineer were trained to improve their qualification, in the cement plant of the partner company LafargeHolcim in Baku.
ISO CERTIFICATION
The ISO certification process started. The ISO certification audit group was in attendance, with the initial meeting and introductory tour of our factory and production process.
ANNUAL AUDIT
On September 3-6, 2018, the cement plant of the Georgian Cement Company LTD hosted representatives of partner company LafargeHolcim LLC in Poti, in particular the managers of the audit team. The audit was carried out in the cement plant for the operation of each equipment, as well as laboratory equipment.
OPTIMIZE PRODUCTION PROCESS
For the optimization of the factory production process, the partner companies have been organized into the enterprise, such as: Kraissio, Fosrock, Grace. The closer cooperation with these companies is to improve the process.
RENEWAL OF STERLING CERTIFICATION
The refinery certification was carried out at the factory. Which significantly improves the performance of the relevant directions.
